## What is sapropel?

Sapropel is a dark, organic-rich sediment from the bottom of freshwater lakes. It builds up over millennia as plankton and aquatic plants decompose without oxygen. The result is a biologically active material full of humic and fulvic acids, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

Reported results: +25–30% potato yield, +15–20% barley yield, +80% lycopene in greenhouse tomatoes. One application improves soil for many seasons.

- Humic acids: up to 35 %
- Fulvic acids: 5–15 %
- Nitrogen (N): 1.5–3.5 %
- Phosphorus (P₂O₅): 0.2–0.7 %
- Potassium (K₂O): 0.2–0.6 %
- Calcium (CaO): 2–25 %
- Trace elements: Mn, Cu, Zn, B, I, Mo, Co, Fe
- pH: 6.5–7.8
